Elevate your professional skills and impact as an educator by becoming a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) or a Certified Academic Therapist (CALT). These certifications empower you to master whole class or small group instruction techniques with the application of reading of science and provide specialized, effective interventions for dyslexic students.
These certifications are more than an academic achievement; it's a transformative step in your career, enabling you to significantly enhance the learning experiences of your students and truly transform lives.
Our 6-course-plus-practicum program covers the science
of reading, the science of dyslexia and an in-depth study of the structure of the English language using the most recent evidence-based support.
Dyslexia Practitioner Program
The Dyslexia Practitioner program is a 1-year program designed to give you an in-depth understanding of dyslexia and the science of reading, preparing you for eligibility to sit for the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) Competency Exam.
