Services for Parents and Caregivers
Dyslexia Testing

The Dyslexia Resource Center's testing can help you learn about dyslexia. The DRC offers testing at the end of kindergarten through adulthood. Click below to learn more and schedule your child's test.

Online Dyslexia Therapy & Tutoring

Our online therapy program uses evidence-based practices to help your child with dyslexia learn how to read and comprehend what they've read. Our tutors are Certified Academic Language Therapists/Practitioners (CALT/P) or currently training with us under the direct supervision of a CALT/P Qualified Instructor. Standard sessions for your child focuses on the science of reading including decoding and encoding, and building knowledge. Your child can attend sessions in a small group or receive one-on-one attention in an individual session. We hold one-hour sessions three times per week ($35/session).

Assessment of Outside Diagnostic Testing

Have you been told your child has dyslexia, and you're skeptical? Call our caring experts. We review third-party testing and action plans, and we offer an objective accuracy analysis. If necessary, we'll help develop an ongoing support plan tailored to your child with qualified assistance from our experts. We can also help you learn how to talk to your child's school, and how you can help at home.

Accredited Certifications

Do you enjoy helping children or adults with dyslexia? Become a Certified Academic Language Therapist or Practitioner (CALT or CALP) with our Dyslexia Therapy Training Program. Our 6-course-plus-practicum program covers the science of reading, the science of dyslexia and an in-depth study of the structure of the English language using the most recent evidence-based support.

Dyslexia Resource Center’s online therapy makes it easy for my son to have very consistent help. I notice that his progress is much better when he is working on the material on a consistent basis. Before the Dyslexia Resource Center I struggled to keep a regular schedule with a therapist. He likes working with the other kids in his group and looks forward to seeing them in therapy.
Casey's Parents
I highly recommend the online tutoring program with Dyslexia Resource Center. I had concerns of the online tutoring process because of my experience with online school classes during Covid. Immediately I recognized this online tutoring program is different and effective. The tutor, Casey is so amazing how she is able to keep her students interest and interaction with her during the lessons. My child is actually excited and looking forward to their online tutoring! Casey‘s techniques and her praises instilled confidence in my child to not be frightened to read aloud!
Tutoring Parents
Since just a few months of beginning therapy with the Dyslexia Center, my daughter has made noticeable improvement in her decoding and oral reading fluency. Additionally, she is much more aware and mindful of her spelling while writing. Her awareness and desire to improve using strategies that her therapist taught her is a wonderful and much-needed improvement!
